I woke up this morning to find that the outdoors had been covered by a heavenly white blanket of snow. It was immediately followed by a slew of text messages and calls informing me that the city had pretty much shut down. My response- YAY SNOW DAY!!!!!
My thought process was to have a fun filled day of hot chocolate, HBO movies, popcorn and an outside mock run through of the 2014 Sochi games. Sadly, the latter didn’t happen (but hey tomorrow is a new day filled with promise!) I did, however, pack into a four-wheel drive vehicle and brave the iced streets for a photography adventure.
