Simply put, the heart is life. It’s our body’s source for oxygen rich blood and is responsible for maintaining our inner environment’s levels. But we give the heart way more credit than that. The heart thinks for us and gives us a guide. The heart speaks to us and tells us our deepest desires. And above all the heart gives to us by being that source for love that allows you to care freely for those you surround.
With all this said it is not surprising that heart disease is the number one killer of women. We as women give so much from our hearts, which is why we have to do what we can to protect it. As the American Heart Association calls it, this is The Heart Truth.
Don’t let life, family and your career overwhelm you and led you to neglect your inner life force. Learn the symptoms, eat well, exercise and get screened.
